Sea cruise to Dartmouth - returning by steam train to Paignton
(1) Leaving Torquay Harbour on the Dartmouth Castle heading for
Dartmouth with one call at Brixham
(2) Berry Head. The small blob to the right of the mast is reputedly
the shortest lighthouse in Great Britain and also one of the highest
(3) The entrance to Dartmouth Harbour
(4) It was a beautiful day, even baby was sleeveless on the front seat
(5) The cones on this buoy change position, indicating the direction you should take to pass it
(6) The name of the boat we're on is Dartmouth Castle, this is
Dartmouth Castle, on the entrance to the harbour

(12) From Dartmouth we took the ferry across to Kingswear to
catch the steam train back to Paignton.
Here comes our train into Kingswear station
(13) The engine uncouples, changes points then runs past all the
carriages to the other end of the train. The points are then
changed again to allow it to recouple for the return journey.
(14) The proud engine in Paignton, uncoupled ready to move to
the other end of the train to return to Kingswear
(15) GWR locomotive 7827 Lydham Manor. Obviously well looked
after, just see how she shines
